Report: Wife of Former Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi Threatening to Reveal Hillary Clinton's Involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood, Role in Forming an Islamic Republic in the U.S.

As has been strongly suspected for at least three years, ladies and gentlemen, the Obama administration has been heavily involved with Mohammad Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood organization in Egypt and now, Qatar. You read in a prior blog article where I provided additional information from Al Jazeera regarding the current government's revelation to the Egyptian media and the prior mentioned Qatari government that this is in fact true; in fact, Al Jazeera is a news service based in Doha, Qatar, and is funded by the House of Thani, the state's ruling family. 

My concept of searching news services for information is this: If there is smoke, there is almost certainly a fire creating it. My job is to locate where that fire is and determine where the smoke and flames will travel. When I read a story from media service, I attempt to locate different mediums reporting the same to determine all angles. There are usually two sides or more to every story, and in my experience such as the past 48 of debating socialists on Ted Cruz's Facebook page about amnesty, they are the most naive, gullible people who claim anyone who goes to the trouble to read the news is, in fact, "crazy", "naive" as well as "stupid". Knowledge is the enemy of those who would seek subvert the sovereignty of a people residing within a democratic state of any variation. It was none other than the man who exposed Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-WI) during the hearings to expose Americans accused to be cohorts of Soviet communism who stated that a nation of sheep will governed by wolves. And so it is with today's American public, the most poorly-educated and ill-informed in our nation's history. As I sat in on a high school U.S. History and witnessed the teacher quiz her students on the second day of school  two years ago, multiple students replied that it was Babe Ruth, not Jackie Robinson, who broke baseball's color barrier; some did not know that Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States, and I recall one did not know who the current president was. The goal for public education today is not to teach life skills, deductive reason or simply to engage in the use of common sense as often as possible, but rather how to take standardized tests and pass. It is true that teachers often find legitimate measures to pass their students through excessive participatory assignments or grade-inflationary adjustments. When the principal of a school states that students only have a 31% chance to pass a course and that it is the job of all teachers to ensure that all have the means to avoid that bottom 69%, failure is not in fact being avoided, but rather encouraged due to a lack of preparation for the adult world of employment. No wonder there is today a larger percentage of Americans on welfare and nearly 93 million still out of the workforce. The unemployment rate only is dropping because more people are leaving the labor force monthly who are still eligible to work.

My intentions in this article are two-fold. The first one is obvious in how I plan to provide information for three different services, one of which is printed in Cairo, Egypt about Hillary Clinton's involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood on behalf of President Obama and their initial designs for subjugating the American people to Sharia law. The second is to inform you how President Obama can in fact be arrested by order of Congress, and you will be interested to understand in how this was determined by the U.S. Supreme Court and why, plus which president it was directed at. There is a great deal to cover, and I will not waste further time delaying that which I am now seguing to.

It is important to note how the Muslim Brotherhood has not be declared by the federal government as a terrorist organization, and how the Obama administration supported monetarily former president of Egypt Mohammed Morsi's rise to power by way of a coup d'etat as opposed through a truly democratic process, which both claim to be true. I first read of this story in The Gateway Pundit where this information was provided. Of course, this would never be provided anywhere in the mainstream media, and likely not by Fox News unless it is concrete and absolute. But again, as I am not a professional journalist, I can take a few licenses in what I choose to use to report to you, my dear friends and readers, on the issues not just in America, but globally.

Members of liberal and Christian political groups attacked visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2012.  They accused the Obama Administration of cutting a ‘secret deal’ with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.

Now the wife of former Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammad Morsi has threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s “special relationship” with the Muslim Brotherhood.

The wife of former Egyptian president Muhammad Morsi is the latest Muslim Brotherhood “insider” to threaten to expose the special relationship between Morsi and the Obama administration—a relationship the latter insists never existed.

Nagla Mahmoud, Morsi’s wife, is reportedly angry at some statements recently made by Hillary Clinton, including that Morsi was “naïve” and “unfit for Egypt’s presidency,” as reported by Arabic media.

In the words of El-Mogaz News, Morsi’s wife “is threatening to expose the special relationship between her husband and Hillary Clinton, after the latter attacked the ousted [president], calling him a simpleton who was unfit for the presidency. Sources close to Nagla confirmed that she has threatened to publish the letters exchanged between Morsi and Hillary.”

The report continues by saying that Nagla accuses Hillary of denouncing her former close ally, the Brotherhood’s Morsi, in an effort to foster better relations with his successor, Egypt’s current president, Sisi—even though, as Nagla laments, “he [Morsi] was faithful to the American administration.”

Earlier, the son of Khairat al-Shatter—another top ranking Brotherhood member who was arrested during the June 2013 revolution that ousted Morsi—made similar assertions, threatening to expose documents that would “undermine his [U.S. president Obama’s] political future and land him in prison.”

So much for the most transparent administration in U.S. history. As I read stories over the years where Obama spoke on how he is the Commander-in-Chief of the world's most powerful military and how the federal government was, in fact, his government, or how his latest press secretary stated that Air Force One was the president's plane and not the taxpayer's, there is one truth that is undeniable: It is the most transparent dictatorship in our history. Usurpations aside, the fact he recently handed to the Qatari government some $11 billion to use towards defense spending and discretionary expenditures is not only troublesome since it funds Hamas, but because they have been harboring the Muslim Brotherhood's higher-ups since its government was toppled by the current regime in Cairo that has outlawed and executed several other key figures of the organization for crimes against the state.

I accept this is a transcript and the link provided by both The Gateway Pundit and Jihad Watch only provide the actual abstract. However, the latter organization did provided a video of  Mohammed Morsi's recorded declaration that in fact, the president was involved with the Muslim Brotherhood, but unfortunately, the broadcast is not translated nor is there a transcript of what was said, and therefore it will not be provided. The Director of Research at the Brookings Doha Center, Shadi Hamid, tweets out about the Egyptian media depicting Obama as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Newspaper also claims that son of Muslim Brotherhood leader threatened Obama with release of "papers" revealing his MB membership.

Surprise, surprise, President Obama’s half brother, Malik Obama, oversees much of the finances of the Muslim Brotherhood, not just in Egypt but throughout the Mideast.

When Morsi was arrested last month, the Egyptian military discovered a pile of documents linking the Obama regime with the illegal activities of the Muslim Brotherhood. Investigative journalist Jerome Corsi has obtained a copy of the document held by the Egyptian military, proving the Obama regime sent millions of dollars in bribes to the Muslim Brotherhood, paid out by the U.S. Consulate.

Conveniently, the President’s brother…is one of the architects of the major investments of the Muslim Brotherhood and oversees an $8 billion dollar bribe to the Muslim Brotherhood made by the Obama regime. The bribe was payment to guarantee that the huge tract of Egyptian land, the Sinai Peninsula, be turned over to the Muslim Brotherhood sister group Hamas, The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas mince no words about their goals for Israel, which is total annihilation.

The former Chancellor of the Constitutional Court of Egypt and current adviser, Tahani Al-Jebali stated that the reason the United States cannot fight the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is because the brother of U.S. President Barack Obama is the architect of the investments for the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood.

According to Egypt Daily News, a document exists showing the eight billion dollar “holocaust” agreement with the Obama administration that was signed by former Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi and his second in command Khairat Al-Shater. Both are under arrest by the Egyptian military for murder and treason.

Obama’s close ties certainly explains our weapons and arms shipments to Egypt along with monetary aid. It may also explain why the Obama administration ignores the persecution of Christians in Egypt.

According to Khairat Al-Shater’s son, Saad Al-Shater, prior to being arrested by the Egyptian military, his father was in possession of information linking Obama with the Muslim Brotherhood that he says would put Obama in prison.

If the Egyptian military releases this document, it would no doubt spell the end of the Obama presidency, bringing impeachment, a long prison term, and perhaps even the death penalty.

• Former deputy mayor of Homeland Security and Public Safety for the City of Los Angeles
• Was responsible for derailing the LAPD's plan to monitor activities within the Los Angeles Muslim community
• Was appointed as assistant secretary for the Office of Policy Development in Barack Obama’s Department of Homeland Security in 2009
• Became a Professor of Homeland Security and Counterterrorism in 2010

In April 2009, President Barack Obama's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano appointed Alikhan as assistant secretary for DHS's Office of Policy Development. Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations' Los Angeles branch, praised the "well-deserved"appointment.

Alikhan subsequently served as a prosecutor in the Los Angeles U.S. Attorney's office and taught law at the University of Southern California. He also spent time working for the U.S. Department of Justice as the overseer of its Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Program. In 2002 Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa appointed Alikhan as Deputy Mayor of Homeland Security and Public Safety for the City of Los Angeles, a position he held until 2006.

Thirteen days prior to his DHS appointment, Alikhan, a devout Sunni Muslim, had participated in a Muslim Public Affairs Council fundraiser titled "Be the Change," to support that organization's leadership-development programs. 

In early June 2009, Alikhan spoke at a banquet/fundraiser for the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California (ISCSC). A noteworthy fellow speaker was Agha Saeed, who had previously defended Palestinian Islamic Jihadleader Sami Al-Arian during the latter's prosecution on terrorism charges. At the ISCSC event, Saeed lamented the "Islamophobia" allegedly pervading post-9/11 America, and demanded that the Justice Department stop monitoring U.S. mosques for evidence of extremism.

In November 2010 Alikhan stepped down from his DHS position and took a job as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Homeland Security and Counterterrorism at the National Defense University’s College of International Security Affairs in Washington, DC. 

Mohamed Elibiary 

Islamic cleric Admirer of the late Ayatollah Khomeini  Has advised numerous law-enforcement organizations on homeland security-related matters Was named to President Obama's Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2010 Misused classified documents in an effort to promote the notion that “Islamophobia” was widespread

Mohamed Elibiary is a Texas-based Islamic cleric who founded Lone Star Intelligence LLC, a security crisis consulting firm, and the Freedom and Justice Foundation (F&J), a Muslim nonprofit group established in November 2002 to “promote a centrist public-policy environment in Texas by coordinating the state-level government and interfaith community relations for the organized Texas Muslim community.” F&J played a key role in successfully lobbying for the passage of Texas's Halal Food Law (the state's first Muslim consumer-protection statute), and for the institution of Islamic prayers (recited by Imams) in both chambers of the State Legislature.

Elibiary was a guest speaker at a December 2004 conference in Dallas, titled “A Tribute to the Great Islamic Visionary,” which was held in honor of the late Ayatollah Khomeini. When a reporter subsequently asked Elibiary to explain why he had chosen to appear at an event honoring the iconic jihadist, Elibiary claimed not to have known in advance about the conference's agenda. When journalist Rod Dreher of the Dallas Morning News voiced skepticism about Elibiary's explanation, the latter threatened Dreher, telling him: “Expect someone to put a banana in your exhaust pipe.” 

In 2006 Elibiary co-founded the North Texas Islamic Council, to coordinate the activities of the many mosques, Islamic schools, and community groups serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area's 150,000+ Muslim residents.

In a 2006 letter to the Dallas Morning News, Elibiary defended the profoundly anti-American early Muslim Brotherhood leader and theorist Sayyid Qutb, stating: “I’d recommend everyone read Qutb, but read him with an eye to improving America not just to be jealous with malice in our hearts.”

Notwithstanding his professed admiration for the likes of Khomeini and Qutb, Elibiary managed to cultivate a reputation as a moderate Muslim -- "the country's leading Muslim deradicalization expert," according to one media report. Indeed, he went on to advise numerous federal, state and local law-enforcement organizations on homeland security-related matters. In 2008–2009 Elibiary was a Fellow at the University of Southern California's American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute. And in December 2009, he helped establish the Texas Fusion Center Policy Council to help state and local law-enforcement personnel improve their information-sharing, analytical capabilities, and community relations.  

In October 2010, President Barack Obama's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano appointed Elibiary, who had recently begunworking with the Texas Department of Public Safety's (DPS) advisory board, to DHS's Homeland Security Advisory Council. 

In October 2011 it was reported that Elibiary had recently been given access to a highly sensitive DPS database (the Homeland Security State and Local Intelligence Community of Interest, or HS SLIC) containing hundreds of thousands of intelligence reports intended solely to aid law-enforcement agencies. In fact, Elibiary was the only Homeland Security Advisory Council member (out of 26) who was permitted to view the HS SLIC.

Elibiary abused this privilege, however, when he gathered together a number of classified documents that, in his view, promoted “Islamophobia,” and presented them to a left-leaning media outlet, in hopes that the latter would write a story about DPS's bias against Muslims. (He also sought to advance the notion that Texas governor Rick Perry was an "Islamophobe.") But the media outlet declined to do the story, saying: “We looked at the reports, and they weren’t as he [Elibiary] had billed them to us. They seem to be pretty straightforward, nothing remotely resembling Islamophobia that we saw. I think he was hoping we would bite and not give it too much of a look in light of the other media outfits jumping on the Islamophobia bandwagon.” 

In early November 2011, Elibiary’s access to the HS SLIC database was revoked. He retained his post as a Department of Homeland Security advisor, however. In September 2013 he was promoted to senior advisor at the Advisory Council, a title held only by a small number of select members. 

In October 2013, Elibiary said: “I do consider the United States of America an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution.” What he meant was that the Constitution and Islamic law reflect the same values and principles. 

On more than one occasion in 2013, Elibiary opined that his close friend, former Holy Land Foundation president and CEO Shukri Abu Baker -- who had been convicted in 2008 of financing the terrorist organization Hamas -- was in fact an innocent victim of political persecution.

An advocate of the U.S. forging a partnership with the Muslim Brotherhood, Elibiary in June 2014 wrote on Twitter that it was “inevitable that [the] Caliphate returns” to the Middle East.

In addition to his DHS duties, Elibiary also serves as a spokesman for the Islamic Association of North Texas, a.k.a. the Dallas Central Mosque, which boasts the largest Muslim congregation in the state. He is also a member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, a lifetime member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and vice president of the FBI-Dallas Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association. 

Rashad Hussein

• Was named deputy associate counsel to President Barack Obama in 2009
• Was appointed (by Obama) as a special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference in 2010

The son of Indian-born U.S. citizens, Rashad Hussain was born in Wyoming in 1978 and was raised in Plano, Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master's degree in Arabic & Islamic studies from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Yale Law School. In the summer of 2000, he served as an intern in the office of Democratic congressman Richard Gephardt. 

In October 2000, Hussain spoke at a conference sponsored by the Association of Muslim Social Scientists and Georgetown University's Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. Titled “Islam, Pluralism, and Demoracy,” this gathering featured appearances by numerous leaders of the global Muslim Brotherhood, including such notables as Louay Safi, Jamal Barzinji, Hisham Al-Talib, and AbdulHamid AbuSulayman. 

In June 2002, Hussain participated in a Congressional Staffers panel at theAmerican Muslim Council’s (AMC) 11th annual convention. At that time, AMC was headed by the Muslim Brotherhood leader Abdurahman Alamoudi, who would later be convicted and incarcerated on terrorism charges.

In 2003 Hussain was a recipient of the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans, which was founded by, and named after, George Soros's older brother and sister-in-law. 

After completing law school, Hussain worked as a legislative assistant for the House Judiciary Committee, then as a trial attorney at the Justice Department, and afterward as a law clerk to Judge Damon Keith on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Detroit, Michigan. 

 In 2004 Hussain wrote a major article in the Yale Law Journal stating that it was “difficult to assess” whether the U.S. government's post-9/11 counterterrorism initiatives “encroach upon” Americans' civil liberties, and “whether such initiatives enhance or undermine security.”

While attending Yale Law School, Hussain was a member of the organizing committee for an April 2004 conference held by Critical Islamic Reflections, a student group sponsored by the International Institute of Islamic Thought and the American Learning Institute for Muslims (ALIM). Among ALIM's instructors were such prominent Muslim Brotherhood figures as Tariq Ramadan, Jamal Badawi, and Taha Al-Alwani. 

In September 2004, while still a Yale law student, Hussain took part in a session at the annual conference of the Muslim Students Association of the U.S. and Canada. Appearing alongside the daughter of Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian, Hussain characterized Al-Arian's recent prosecution on terrorism charges as “politically motivated persecution.”

In August 2008, Hussain published a paper (for the Brookings Institution) titled “Reformulating the Battle of ideas: Understanding the Role of Islam in Counterterrorism Policy.” A number of the paper's recommendations were consistent with the agendas and worldviews of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. For example:

• “Policymakers should reject the use of language that provides a religious legitimization of terrorism such as ‘Islamic terrorism’ and ‘Islamic extremist.’ They should replace such terminology with more specific and descriptive terms such as ‘Al-Qaeda terrorism.’”
• “The United States should welcome and encourage the further development of mainstream Muslim organizations and moderate institutions.” (Specifically, Hussain's paper references the work of the Fiqh Council of North America, which is tied to the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.)
• “The primary cause of broad-based anger and anti-Americanism is not a clash of civilizations but the perceived effect of U.S. foreign policy in the Muslim world.”

In January 2009, Hussain -- recruited by Cassandra Butts, advisor to (and former Harvard Law School classmate of) President Barack Obama -- was named deputy associate counsel to the President. In that position, Hussain focused on issues involving national security, new media, and outreach to the Muslim community. As Obama prepared for his June 2009 trip to Cairo, Hussain helped Ben Rhodes, the President's principal foreign-policy speechwriter, draft the address that Obama would deliver at Cairo's Al-Azhar University. According to Hussain, his own input was geared toward emphasizing the contributions that Muslims have made to American society, and clarifying the context behind some passages in the Koran.

Thirteen months later, Hussain, reflecting on Obama's Cairo address, characterized the speech as “[a framework] that recognizes that we cannot engage one-fourth of the world’s population [i.e., Muslims] based on the beliefs [i.e., jihadism] of just a fringe few and that our engagement can’t be limited to an issue like violent extremism [i.e., terrorism], but that it must be much broader than that.” 

In May 2009, Hussain spoke at a Leadership Summit of the Council for Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP). Among the event's sponsoring organizations were Islamic Relief, Amana Mutual Funds, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding; each of these have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. 

On February 13, 2010, President Obama appointed Hussain as a special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a 57-country coalition that seeks to outlaw any and all criticism of Islamic people, practices, legal codes, and governments -- depicting such criticism as "Islamophobia." 

In August 2010, Hussain took part in an interfaith  "bridge-building" trip organized by the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Suhail Khan. Steven Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism pointed out that "two of the Islamic leaders attending the trip ... had made anti-Semitic, radical Islamic statements or [had] justified terrorist attacks" on previous occasions.

It should be noted that, notwithstanding his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies, Hussain endorses the use of the term “Hamas terrorists.” Further, he urges Muslim leaders to spread the message that genuine Islam forbids acts of terrorism and extremism. While aiming to “discredi[t] the terrorist ideology,” however, Hussain cautions against efforts to tie that objective to the imposition of democracy on Islamic nations; such efforts, says Hussain, could be perceived by Muslims as manifestations of an imperialistic mindset. Thus he proposes that the U.S. build a Muslim coalition “not limited to those who advocate Western-style democracy, and avoid creating a dichotomy between freedom and Islamic society.”  

Salam Al-Marayati 

• Founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council
• Accused Israelis of responsibility for the 9/11 attacks
• Hamas and Hezbollah sympathizer

Salam Al-Marayati is the founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), a Los Angeles-based Islamic advocacy group that defends Muslim extremist violence. MPAC has condemned the anti-terrorism measures of both the U.S. and Israel, and has called for a repeal of the Patriot Act. 

During a 1997 speech he delivered at the University of Pennsylvania, Al-Marayati equated the concept of jihad to the statements of the eighteenth-century American statesman Patrick Henry. Said Al-Marayat, "[T]he person who we think in America would epitomize jihad would be Patrick Henry, who said, 'Give me liberty or give me death.' That is a way of looking at the term jihad from an American perspective."

On the afternoon of September 11, 2001, Al-Marayati used a Los Angeles talk radio program as a forum in which to accuse the Israelis of responsibility for that morning's attacks on New York and Washington. Al-Marayati has also called for the U.S. government to unfreeze the assets of two Islamic charities, the Global Relief Foundation and the Holy Land Foundation, that were shut down by the government because of funding they had given to terrorist organizations. 

Al-Marayati refuses to call Hezbollah a terrorist group. "I don't think any group should be judged 100% this or that," he says. "I think every group is going to have . . . its claim of liberation and resistance." He has similarly justified Hamas' existence as a political entity that promotes social programs and "educational operations." "Yesterday's terrorists in the Middle East are today's leaders," he says. "The PLO is the number one example of this . . . The PLO 35 years ago was considered a terrorist organization, nobody should deal with them . . . But they became the people in authority, in Palestine, today. So Hamas today, the way it's being viewed, is exactly how the PLO was viewed 30 years ago. And in fact, even Hamas in terms of its social and educational operations is doing exactly what the PLO was doing 35 years ago, as well as its quote unquote military operations."

Born in northern Sudan in 1965, Mohamed Magid studied Islam under African Sunni scholars, one of whom was his own father, the Grand Mufti of Sudan. In 1987 Magid immigrated to the United States, where he took collegecourses in psychology and family counseling, and he taught classes on the Koran at Howard University in Washington, DC.  In 1997 Magid became imam of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), a mosque located in Sterling, Virginia. Soon thereafter, he became affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America(ISNA), first as its East Zone representative, then as vice president, and finally as president (a post to which he was elected in September 2010). He continues to head both ISNA and ADAMS to this day.

Ten days after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Magid, angered by what he perceived to be a growing anti-Muslim sentiment among the American people, belligerently told journalists: "We cannot be apologetic about being Muslims in this country ... We have a 
right to be Muslim."

In March 2002, federal agents raided the offices of many northern-Virginia-based Muslim organizations, including ADAMS, on suspicion that they were providing material support to terrorists. This initiative, known as "Operation Green Quest," was the largest investigation of terror-financing ever conducted anywhere in the world. Soon after the raids had been completed, Magid held a public meeting in the town of Sterling, where he encouraged "community building" among the groups that were being investigated. To this meeting, he invited such notables as Kit Gage of the National Coalition to Protect Political Freedom; Mahdi Bray, political advisor for the Muslim Public Affairs Council; and Nihad Awad, the pro-Hamas executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Awad told the outraged crowd: "This is a war against Islam and Muslims. Our administration [i.e., the Bush administration] has the burden of proving otherwise."

Notwithstanding his combative track record, Magid has cultivated, in media and political circles, an image as a moderate Muslim. The Huffington Post, for one, has dubbed him “America’s Imam.” In 2005 Time magazine published a lengthy profile of Magid, likewise depicting him as a voice of moderation who "work[s] closely with the FBI," "regularly opens doors for [FBI] agents trying to cultivate contacts in his Muslim community," and "alerts the bureau when suspicious persons approach his congregation." The Time report, however, angered many of Magid's Muslim constituents who viewed the FBI as their enemy. Consequently, Magid felt compelled to issue a "clarifying statement" explaining that his meetings with FBI personnel were intended mainly to "convey ... that our Muslim community needs to be treated as partners, not as suspects," and to "work with law enforcement to preserve our civil liberties and civil rights." Further, Magid emphasized that he and his fellow Muslim leaders did "not use these monthly meetings to report upon the activities of our community members."

Also in 2005, the ADAMS website displayed a list of speakers who had recently appeared at the mosque. Among these individuals were ADAMS chairmam Ahmed Tontonji, who was indicted in Operation Green Quest and was named as a defendant in a $1 trillion lawsuit filed by more than 600 surviving relatives of victims who had died in the 9/11 attacks, and Johari Abdul Malik, an Imam who had defended numerous Islamic radical and terrorist figures.

In 2011 President Barack Obama appointed Magid to serve on the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Countering Violent Extremism Working Group. In this position, Magid was authorized to train and advise personnel affiliated with the FBI and other federal agencies. He soon became a regular visitor to the White House, and merged as perhaps the most influential and sought-after Muslim authority in the United States. 

In his new DHS role, Magid, claiming that media references to jihad as “holy war” constituted a “misuse” of the term, asked Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez to: arrange for Magid to meet regularly with top Justice Department officials; allow Magid to reeducate FBI agents vis a vis Islam and its practitioners; and carefully avoid criticism of Islam, which Magid characterized as “religious bigotry and hate.” Magid and other Muslim lobbyists also persuaded government officials to ban the practice, at airports, of conducting the extra security checks on passengers traveling from a number of Islamic countries -- checks that had been instituted after a Nigerian Muslim tried to blow up a passenger plane on Christmas Day 2009.

In response to pressure from Magid and his fellow lobbyists, DHS carefully erased from its "Countering Violent Extremism" curriculum any suggestion that Muslim terrorism drew its inspiration from the laws and doctrines of Islam. In 2012, the FBI purged some 700 documents and 300 presentations from its training materials and lesson plans.

On March 8, 2013, Magid and ten religious leaders met with President Obama for a 90-minute conversation about immigration reform. Also present at the meeting was senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett. Three days later, Magid took part in a meeting with Obama where the President listened to “recommendations” designed to help him prepare for his upcoming diplomacy trip to the Middle East.

In addition to his DHS work, Magid has also served with the National Security Council and has been a member of the FBI's Muslim, Sikh, and Arab Advisory Board.

Eboo Patel

Born November 9, 1975 in Mumbai, India, Eboo Patel was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. After earning a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he taught at an alternative-education program for high-school dropouts in Chicago and, inspired by Dorothy Day’s Catholic Worker Movement, established a cooperative living community for activists and artists in Chicago’s Uptown area.

Patel, a Muslim, went on to earn a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University. During his Oxford years, he ran interfaith youth projects in India, Sri Lanka, and South Africa. In 2002 Patel and a Jewish friend co-founded, with the help of a $35,000 grant from the Ford Foundation, the Chicago-based InterFaith Youth Corps (IFYC) as a forum where “service” could be used as a “bridge” to unite “young people from different faiths.” Patel remains IFYC's executive director to this day. 

In 2005 Patel and several young radicals co-authored the book Letters from Young Activists: Today’s Rebels Speak Out. Among Patel's co-authors were Chesa Boudin (the adopted son of former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers) and Ismail Khalidi (the son of Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi). The book's Preface was written by Ayers’ wife, Weather Underground co-founder Bernardine Dohrn. The back cover featured an endorsement from the convicted cop-killer and former Black Panther Party member Mumia Abu-Jamal. And on the Acknowledgments page, Patel and his fellow authors thanked Ayers personally for the “guidance” and “encouragement” he had provided.

In 2006 Patel published Building the Interfaith Youth Movement: Beyond Dialogue to Action. The book's Afterword was written by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, famous for having led an effort to construct a large mosque near the site of the 9/11 attacks in Manhattan.

In Patel's 2007 book, Saving Each Other, Saving Ourselves, the author recounts discussions that he had with Imam Rauf regarding the future of Islam in the United States. “Islam is a religion that has always been revitalized by its migration,” writes Patel. “America is a nation that has been constantly rejuvenated by immigrants. There is now a critical mass of Muslims in America.” The website of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, an organization co-founded by Rauf, once listed Patel as one of the top “Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow.”

In a 2007 interview with National Public Radio to promote his next newly published book, Acts of Faith, Patel was asked about the “affinity” he felt for the radicalism of Bill Ayers, as he described in the book. Noting that “I actually grew up in the same hometown that Bill Ayers did,” Patel replied: “I was kind of taught the same myths about America, a land of freedom and equality and justice, etc., etc. And then, when I got to college, I saw people eating out of garbage cans for dinner, and I saw Vietnam vets drinking mouthwash for the alcohol, and I thought to myself, this is not the myth that I grew up with.” This harsh reality, Patel said, caused him to feel enormous “rage,” and he credited the “faith-based movement” for having helped him “direc[t] that rage in a direction far more compassionate and far more merciful—with the Catholic Worker Movement.” “Had [I] been one of the people involved in the Weather Underground who were sitting at my kitchen table when I was 18 years old and raging,” said Patel, “my life could have been very different.”

In a June 2008 interview with the leftist evangelical ministry Sojourners, Patel reiterated the sense of rage he had felt upon realizing that “everything you were taught was wrong—about fairness, about equality, about Christopher Columbus, about Thomas Jefferson.” He elaborated that the faith movement had given him a “way to have a radical view of the world—radical equality, radical peace, radical possibility—that is love-based, not anger-based.”

In February 2009, Patel was appointed to President Barack Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships.

In an October 2009 article in Newtopia magazine, a liberal cultural publication, Patel asserted that “Muslim totalitarians” were not all that different from “the Christian totalitarians in America,” “the Jewish totalitarians in Israel,” or “the Hindu totalitarians in India.”

In late July 2011, Patel spoke at the main event of a three-day convention held by the Muslim Students Association. Specifically, he participated in a panel alongside Tariq Ramadan (grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna) and Siraj Wahhaj (who was named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing).

In 2011 Patel depicted Van Jones, the revolutionary communist who had served several months as President Obama's “green jobs” czar, as an “American patriot,” a “faith hero,” and one of “the true giants of history.”

Patel is a regular contributor to the Washington Post, National Public Radio, and CNN. He has blogged for the Huffington Post, USA Today, and Sojourners, among other outlets. Moreover, he has served on the Council on Foreign Relations' religious advisory committee, the Aga Khan Foundation's national committee, and the Duke University Islamic Studies Center's advisory board. He is a fellow of the Ashoka Foundation, and has spoken in such major venues as the Clinton Global Initiative and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum.

Brotherly love: The young Barack was the best man at the first of his older brother Malik's 12 weddings and the two maintain a close relationship

For the briefest moment, Malik Obama’s eyes reflect resentment through the lenses of his metal- framed glasses.

He is fed up with people criticising him for trying to cash in on his younger half-brother’s famous name. ‘It’s also my name and my birthright. Let’s not forget that I was born before him,’ he says.

Barack may have made history as the first black President of the United States, but he is not, Malik suggests, the only member of the family destined for greatness.

For it was drummed into Malik, from a very early age, that he was special and therefore expected to make his mark in this world.

‘My father instilled that in all of us,’ he says. ‘He used to say, “No matter what, you are the very best, because I’m from the best stock. Always keep that in your mind.”

‘And, to be honest, sometimes the only thing that has kept me going was the fact that I’m an Obama; therefore I am somebody.’

Last week, the 54-year-old was forced to fall back on this restorative mantra after suffering a crushing defeat in his bid for political power in Kenya.

He stood as an independent candidate for the governorship of Siaya County in the national elections.

As if that humiliating public drubbing wasn’t enough to contend with, Malik – a practising Muslim – also faces allegations that he is a wife-beater and a philanderer who seduced 17-year-old Sheila Anyango with sweet words and a gift of £24, then made her his 12th wife when she was under the age of consent.

She has said: ‘Marrying him [three years ago] has been the biggest mistake of my life. He beats me, but mostly he’s just nasty and quarrelsome.’ She is not the first spouse to accuse him of abuse.

I find Malik licking his wounds at his base at the Barack H Obama Recreation And Rest Area on the outskirts of Kogelo, the dusty, remote village that is the family’s ancestral home.

But he’s always at the end of a phone line if I want to talk.

‘I last saw him on November 19 last year, shortly after the US election. I went to the White House and offered him my congratulations.

‘We are close but don’t live in each other’s pockets. I don’t have to be at every big party. I’ve not seen Michelle in a while.

I saw her and the children at the last inauguration, but it was very busy, so we didn’t have time to talk. I can’t say that I have a relationship with my nieces.’

An accountant by profession, Malik describes himself as an independent financial adviser for several American and international companies.

He complains that he is maligned and misunderstood because he is a Muslim and a black man. His voice is deep, with an American twang – he has lived in Washington since 1985 and divides his time between there and Kogelo.

‘Having a famous brother has made me a target of hatred, racism and bigotry against my religion,’ he says. ‘I recently asked Barack what advice he could give me about dealing with all the negativity. 

He just laughed and replied, “You’re a big boy. You’re my elder brother, you can take it. Anyway, it’s only four more years.” ’ 

By then Malik is hoping to have raised enough money to make a bid for the Kenyan presidency, due to be contested in five years.

Some might question his motives, but he says Barack has been encouraging. ‘Back in 2011, when I told him about my plans, he said to go for it. His only advice was that I should be honest, sincere – and to have a thick skin.’

Malik reveals how he once tried to use his family ties to change the shape of international politics – by pleading with his brother to save Libya’s Colonel Gaddafi after his people turned against him in 2011.

‘I went to see my brother and I said look, this is somebody I know and it’s terrible what is going on. Let’s see if we can talk to him and find some kind of rapprochement. He wasn’t interested.

'He didn’t want to know, which was very disappointing. But he did tell me that he shook Gaddafi’s hand when they met at a conference in Rome.’

Then he chides Barack for not doing enough to help his Kenyan relatives.

‘I’m very proud of my brother, but I would like for him to do a little bit more for the family on this side. I would like to say he could send some money. I give money when asked. That’s what family is for. We’re not well off, though people think we are.’

He is eager to position himself as patriarch. It is, he says, his right  as the first-born Obama sibling.

Malik was just one in 1959 when his father, Barack Obama Senior, left  his wife Kezia to take up a scholarship at the University of Hawaii. Malik’s sister Auma, two years younger, appears to have been conceived when his father was home on holiday. Kezia, now 72, later studied in America and lives in Bracknell, Berkshire.

In America, Barack Sr met and married Ann Dunham, an anthropologist from Kansas. But soon after she gave birth to the future US President he abandoned her and returned to Kenya.

There were other women and other children, before he descended into alcoholism after a car crash left him  disabled. The President is said to have struggled to come to terms with the fact his eight brothers and sisters have four different mothers.

Malik recalls: ‘My father came back in 1964 and we lived here in Kogelo, before moving to Nairobi. He was the senior manager at the Kenya Tourist Development Agency, which was a very good job. We had the very best of everything – a nice car, a lovely house, and servants.

‘But we lost it all after the accident in 1971 because he couldn’t work. I was going to one of the best private schools, but I suddenly I had to walk ten miles to get there.

‘There were times when we didn’t even have money for food. I had to scrounge meals from family members. It was tough to see my father’s disintegration. He died at 46, without ever realising objectives. Just by being alive I’ve already achieved something he didn’t.’

After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a degree in accountancy, Malik worked in Nairobi until 1985, when he moved to America.

‘Barack made contact soon after I started living in Washington and flew from Chicago, to meet me,’ he says. ‘I knew about him from the beginning, because my father used to talk about him a lot.’

Malik, who runs a small electronics shop a half-hour’s drive outside Washington, says there is nothing wrong in using his name as a force for change – but he adds that his brother’s family is not involved.

‘They’re hands-off,’ he said. ‘They’re not involved in what I’m doing. He’s doing his thing, he’s the President of United States. I am Malik Obama, doing this thing.’

He claims to have raised nearly $100,000 for his foundation, a charity set up to in 2008 to ‘do good for Kogelo’. 

But there have been questions about where the money has gone. A probe was launched over cash owed to the US taxman from his fund-raising activities. Much of the money raised had come from Malik’s Muslim connections in Saudi Arabia, Libya, Sudan and Yemen.

‘These people were happy that my brother is the President of the United States,’ he says. ‘So they invited me to conferences. I saw it as a chance to use my name in a good cause.’

He especially liked Gaddafi, whom he met about half a dozen times.

Moving on to the accusations about his domestic life, he vehemently denies the claims against him.

‘I don’t beat my wives, as has been alleged. It’s all b******t. I categorically deny the allegations said to have come from my wife,’ he says. 

‘Sheila went back to her mother’s home the other day after she had a row with a co-wife in the family compound. I don’t wish to go into the details, but it was between the two women, nothing to do with me.

‘She came to the polling booth with me last Monday and said she still loves me. I’m sure she will be home when she’s ready.’

One local man told me later that it was common knowledge that when any of his wives becomes ‘troublesome’ or demanding she is ‘let go’.

Malik insists he is a fair man.  ‘There have been 12 wives since my first marriage in 1981, when Barack was my best man. I have done my best with all of them, along with the children.’ He won’t, however, say how many he has.

When I ask about the reactions of the President and First Lady to his polygamous life, he shrugs and grins slyly. ‘They’ve never commented  to me about it. They keep their thoughts on such matters to themselves. But they are happy that I’m a proud Muslim.’ 

Denial: He categorically denied reports that he beats one of his 12 wives

And there is indeed some evidence for that. In his memoir, Barack recalls the wedding day, writing: ‘The person who made me proudest was Roy [the name he uses for Malik]. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol. [His] new lifestyle has left him lean and clear-eyed. 

'At the wedding he looked so dignified in his black African gown with white trim and matching cap that some of our guests mistook him for my father.’

Malik says: ‘Some people go on about me being a Muslim, as if it somehow impacts on my brother’s politics. That is my faith, not his, but he respects it.

‘I would describe my relationship with Barack is a normal brotherly one, except that he’s got a country to run. And I think he’s doing a very good job on that score.’

For all his political inexperience Malik is convinced he is the man to end corruption, rampant poverty and financial mismanagement in Kenya. He says: ‘The Obama name will help to attract the kind of international investment that would bring industry and jobs.

‘I am already showing the way through my foundation. I’m building concrete bridges in the village, putting up power lines, providing homes for widows.’

He hopes of running for governor will have raised his international profile. ‘I’m not deterred by this  initial political setback,’ he says.

‘Don’t be surprised if, in five years’ time, there is another president with the name Obama.’

Little Brother Barack appears to have declared Malik persona non grata. He is an embarrassment to the president; he is also politically-damaging. If the general public knew about Malik Obama, that he has been running money, arms and munitions for the Muslim Brotherhood, what then would become of the president? Since family members cannot cause a sitting president to be charged with a crime simply by his blood relationship to the individual, the proof would be need is at least two people who witnessed what exactly transpired. The entire Egyptian government may be all that is necessary, as well as Mohammed Morsi's wife and son, to engage the military or Congress in one or both arresting the president for treason and war crimes.

If the president is indeed not a Kenyan citizen by birth, why would the nation care to honor him in this way, or the late Libyan Muammar Gaddafi to state he is from Kenya? Gadhafi hated Israel as have most Arab State leaders; this is nearly an absolute among all rulers of these Islamic states. And for Obama to engage as The Examiner claims in a "holocaust" plot between the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas on the Sinai Peninsula where Israel is located is revealing only that he is intent upon achieving the fall of Zion and the reacquisition of this land for Islamic states. Uncovered Muslim Brotherhood Documents Could Put Obama in Prison

In early 2012, Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate Mohammed Morsi pranced around Egypt proclaiming “Jihad is our path,” and thought there was nothing better than to die in the cause of Allah—that is, the exact language used by terrorists!

Despite this, Barack Obama gushed on national television after Morsi was elected President of Egypt. And oddly—or not so oddly—Obama continued to gush over Morsi while reports surfaced that the Muslim Brotherhood were setting up torture chambers for their political enemies, not to mention openly crucifying Christians!

When Morsi was deposed, the Egyptian military discovered a treasure trove of documents linking the Obama regime with the illegal activities of the Muslim Brotherhood.

One such document is a list of Muslim Brotherhood officials receiving secret bribes in U.S. currency, paid out by the U.S. consulate, amounting to millions of dollars.

Investigative journalist Jerome Corsi has obtained a copy of the document held by the Egyptian military, proving the Obama regime sent millions of dollars in bribes to the Muslim Brotherhood.

But who was managing all of this money? Did the Muslim Brotherhood walk around with hundreds of thousands of dollars in their pockets?

Enter Malik Obama, Obama’s half brother. According to Egyptian television, citing the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt:

The President’s brother…is one of the architects of the major investments of the Muslim Brotherhood.

We’re not just talking about the bribes the Muslim Brotherhood received in Egypt, but the entire Muslim Brotherhood finances—worldwide—that more than likely included an astounding $8 billion dollar bribe to the Muslim Brotherhood made by the Obama regime. The bribe was payment to guarantee that the huge tract of Egyptian land, the Sinai Peninsula, be turned over to the Muslim Brotherhood sister group Hamas, undoubtably to put Israel in an indefensible position. The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas mince no words about their goals for Israel: total annihilation.

According to Egypt Daily News, a document exists showing the eight billion dollar  “holocaust” agreement with the Obama administration that was signed by former Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi and his second in command Khairat Al-Shater, both under arrest by the Egyptian military for murder and treason.

Does this document really exist, showing the $8 billion dollar bribe signed by Obama or one of his representatives?

Undoubtably.

According to Khairat Al-Shater’s son, Saad Al-Shater, prior to being arrested by the Egyptian military, his father was in possession of information linking Obama with the Muslim Brotherhood that he says would put Obama in prison.

As reported by a multitude of Arabic news sources:

In an interview with the Anatolia News Agency, Saad Al-Shater, the son of a Muslim Brotherhood leader, the detained Khairat Al-Shater said that his father had in his hand evidence that will land the head of United States of America, President Obama, in prison.

If the Egyptian military releases this document, it would no doubt spell the end of the Obama presidency, bringing impeachment, a long prison term, and perhaps even the death penalty.

• MB signatories to the agreement are liable to the death penalty for treason. 

• The Obama administration would try to reach an agreement with El Sissi (Defense Minister): recognition of the legitimacy of the “coup” in exchange for his silence about the secret agreement. But El Sissi would be more interested in the conviction of MB and discredit their organization which is Egypt’s main source of danger. 

• The Republican members of Congress are seriously looking into the case. If proven, the process of Obama impeachment could be triggered.

Egyptian government and mainstream media has reported a major development regarding the role of Barack Obama’s brother (presumably, his half-brother Malik Obama) with the Muslim Brotherhood. As we have reported before, Malik is a member of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO), an arm of the Sudanese government, which is led by President Omar al-Bashir, who is himself a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

These facts would lend credibility to the following claims from Egypt. It is also important to note that August 25th is a very key date in Egypt; it is when imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leaders go on trial there.

The former Chancellor of the Constitutional Court of Egypt and current adviser, Tahani Al-Jebali stated that the reason the United States cannot fight the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is because the brother of U.S. President Barack Obama is the architect of the investments for the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Jebali also appeared on Egyptian television to explain how important this news is to Americans who are concerned about their President’s actions, saying it “is a gift to the American people”, implying there is much more to come:

She noted that the cost to Egypt has been great and that her country will not allow any conspiracy against its people, the Egyptian state or any one of the members of the Security Council. Leading Egypt to Chapter 7 is unacceptable and would plunge her country into a dire state similar to that which exists in Iraq and Libya.

If these reports are correct, Turkey appears to play a central role in the conspiratorial nature of this activity and that Egypt has asserted to the international community that it will not tolerate such activity.

Nigerian Sect Kills Villagers Along Border

Three girls who escaped after they were abducted by the Boko Haram sect attended a news conference in Nigeria’s capital, Lagos, on Thursday. Credit Akintunde Akinleye/Reuters

DAKAR, Senegal — The Boko Haram men, disguised in army uniforms, gathered the villagers together and promised them protection.

Then, shouting “Allahu akbar,” they opened fire, killing scores, according to three officials from the area, in northeast Nigeria along the country’s border with Cameroon.

That massacre — on Tuesday morning in the village of Attagara — was the bloodiest in a series of attacks by the sect this week in Nigeria’s far north, according to officials and Nigerian news reports, as the killings by Boko Haram continued unabated, and apparently unchecked by the country’s military.

The deadly assaults have become so pervasive that the officials spoke of the sect’s having established virtual control over an entire area in the country’s far northeast, and even hoisting their black flag in one village, Ashigashiya. A precise death count has not been established, the officials said, because the army and other government authorities were not yet present. 

This week’s attacks appeared to follow a familiar pattern of retaliation against villagers who resisted the sect, and the deadliest of them mimicked the mass abduction of schoolgirls in the same area in April that has focused global attention on Boko Haram — sect members in army uniforms lulled villagers, assembling them in a large group before mowing them down.

“They killed almost all the people that gathered together in the village,” a man from Attagara said. He described himself as a “community leader,” but declined to give his name.

“Some of the people, they tried to escape to the bush, and they followed them,” he said. “Women that were carrying male children, they would kill the child.”

“They burn the houses,” he said. “They have burned my house. They have burned my everything.”

He said women from Attagara had buried at least 50 inhabitants. Senator Ndume said 42 had been buried; and the Borno state assembly representative for the area, Ahmed Usman Jaha, said about 100 had been killed there. The Nigerian news media spoke of hundreds of deaths in the area.

The apparent lack of military intervention, even as the killings continued, was likely to raise renewed questions about the capacity of the Nigerian armed forces to confront the onslaught by Boko Haram. Foreign nations that are assisting the Nigerians in the hunt for the kidnapped schoolgirls have already raised such doubts, and now they are appearing in Nigeria as well.

This week, the military’s spokesman was forced publicly to deny news reports that some senior army officers were being court-martialed for collusion with Boko Haram.

The virulence of this week’s attacks appears to have been spurred, in part, by military pressure on Boko Haram from the Cameroon side of the border, according to Senator Ndume. Over the last week, Cameroon has deployed thousands of troops to its far north, taking up what is becoming a regional campaign against the group. In doing so, it appears to have pushed Boko Haram out of some previously safe redoubts across the border from Nigeria.

The sect has emptied out a substantial area in Nigeria’s northeast, with thousands of refugees now clustering in Maiduguri.

On Sunday morning, its forces surrounded Attagara on motorcycles and began firing on people, according to Mr. Jaha and the community leader. Vigilantes in the village fired back, they said, and the attack was repelled.

But on Tuesday, villagers learned that another attack was coming. Several went to an army post not far away, the community leader said, and begged for protection. When they returned, the village was full of men in army uniforms who claimed that they were there to help, he said.

Speaking Thursday night from Maiduguri, Mr. Jaha said, “Unfortunately, the people in the community assumed they were military personnel.”

The community leader said, “Some of the dead bodies are still there.”

“They could not bury everybody,” he said. “That area has been almost completely taken over by the Boko Haram,” he added. “They are almost in control.”

There again is why so little is discussed today about Boko Haram: They were never declared until last year to be a terrorist cell. They were funded by the administration to blackmail the Nigerian government into bending to the president's will or meet economic sanctions, which indeed has been confirmed even in our own mainstream media, but which none of the major cable news networks ever truly addressed out of fear of targeting if I had to guess. Obama Administration Threatened Nigeria with Sanctions in 2013 for Fighting Boko Haram

Hillary Clinton wasn’t the only Obama administration official who went to bat for Boko Haram over the past few years. Soon after John Kerry took over as Secretary of State, the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria, Terence P. McCulley, accused the Nigerian government of butchery during a confrontation with Boko Haram terrorists in Baga, a Nigerian town on the shores of Lake Chad, and in May 2013 threatened to withdraw U.S. military aid from the West African nation.

Boko Haram militants attacked a Nigerian military outpost in April 2013 outside Baga, killing one soldier. Following the three-day battle human rights activists, including the George Soros-funded and liberal aligned Human Rights Watch, which is not exactly known for its impartiality when it comes to reporting on Islamic issues, claimed the Nigerian military wantonly slaughtered 183 civilians and burned down over 2,000 homes and businesses.

The Nigerian government denied the claims saying the death toll and destruction had been vastly overstated by its enemies, and in fact 30 Boko Haram terrorists, 6 civilians and one soldier, had died in the fighting. Reports from the Baga clinic, which treated 193 people following the battle, but only 10 with serious injuries, seemed to back up the Nigerian government claim that no large-scale massacre had occurred.

The U.S. Nigerian Ambassador, blindly believing any Islamist sob story that crossed his path, responded in a May 2013 meeting with human rights activists by defending Boko Haram: 

Mr. Terrence announced to the activists that the US congress had previously passed a law that bars the United States from rendering military assistance to any government that violates basic rights of citizens. He said the Obama led US government has therefore ceased to assist Nigeria militarily in obedience to the law.

The threat of military sanctions, and whether or not they were actually implemented, is an open question as there has been zero coverage of this issue in the mainstream media, may have had a chilling effect on Nigerian military operations against Boko Haram. Since Ambassador McCulley’s proclamation the Nigerian civilian death toll by Boko Haram Islamic militants has skyrocketed over the past year.

No wonder the Nigerian government was initially reluctant to accept U.S. assistance with finding the more than 200 Christian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram last month. Emboldening Nigeria’s Islamic terrorist enemies and having been already accused by the Obama administration of crimes against humanity for fighting militants who were responsible for hundreds of civilian deaths since 2010, they likely felt that Obama’s belated support was more a product of diplomatic CYA than actually caring about the fate of kidnapped Nigerian children.

US Withdraws Military Assistance To Nigeria Over Baga, Human Rights Violations

SAN FRANCISCO, May 02, (THEWILL) – The United States Government has withdrawn military assistance to Nigeria citing various human rights violations by Nigerian security forces, particularly the military which is currently engulfed in a controversy over the killing of dozens and destruction of hundreds of residences in Baga, a town in Borno State during a clash with members of the Boko Haram.

The United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Terence P. McCulley in a private meeting Thursday in Abuja with about ten members of the human rights community in Nigeria disclosed the US government position.

The US supports the Nigerian military and security agencies with training, intelligence and weapons.

The Human Rights Watch (HRW) in a report released in Johannesburg, South Africa, said its investigations into the fighting in Baga, showed that 183 people were killed, contrary to the claims by the military, which also investigated the incident and has maintained that 36 persons and a soldier died in the clash.

HRW which cited a community leader as its source, also said its analysis of satellite images of Baga, before and after the clash, showed that 2,275 buildings, majority of which were likely residences, were razed by fire with another 125 severely damaged.

THEWILL gathered from a source at the meeting who opted to remain anonymous that the Ambassador called the meeting to feel the pulse of the human rights community over the violations of basic rights of citizens by security forces under the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

As the meeting progressed, Mr. Terrence announced to the activists that the US congress had previously passed a law that bars the United States from rendering military assistance to any government that violates basic rights of citizens. He said the Obama led US government has therefore ceased to assist Nigeria militarily in obedience to the law.

The source said Mr. Terence listened as his visitors expressed frustrations with the Nigerian government over its inability to bring to justice security operatives that have violated rights of fellow citizens.

The source further told THEWILL that the activists pleaded with the US Ambassador to cancel any invitation extended to President Goodluck Jonathan to attend any meetings of global world leaders in protest of the nation’s worsening human rights record.

The Ambassador however agreed with their position and assured the rights activists of the US government’s unflinching support for democracy and the rights of citizens. He assured them that their position would be communicated to the Department of State headed by Senator John Kerry.

Some of the activists at the meeting include Mr. Clement Nwankwo, Mr. Emmanuel Onwubiko of the Human Rights Writers' Association of Nigeria; Kole Shettima of the MacArthur Foundation and Auwal Rafsanjani of the Executive Director at Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) amongst others.

Finally, why won't Boko Haram be destroyed, just as neither the Islamic State and Hamas, nor al-Qaeda or the Taliban? Well, leave it to the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, which as an Israeli foreign policy think-tank, knows a thing or two about being the victims of repeated genocide attempts:

The Possibility of Nigerian Partition

The crisis created by the Nigerian government’s inability to cope with the Boko Haram threat has led some of the country’s Christian intellectuals and politicians to maintain that Nigeria has no future as a unified state. They note that the developed parts of Nigeria are mostly in Christian-populated areas, and call for a partition if necessary. Nigerian Muslims, for their part, continue to support the unified state. Their complacent attitude toward the jihadists could change, however, when President Goodluck’s tenure ends in February 2015 and a Muslim president is elected instead.

It is this potentially explosive situation that has prompted the concern of the Western powers. A partitioned Nigeria would have dire implications for the stability of the neighboring regimes and for world energy supplies, since Nigeria is the sixth largest producer of crude oil. Irredentist effects could be expected in Mali, Niger, Chad, Mauritania, and further afield in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. Subduing Boko Haram is in the West’s interest and could become its top priority in Africa.

In other words, Obama's favorite word regarding his concern that domestic discontent with his policies will lead to America's Balkinization is now becoming a reality, and why recently Boko Haram has proclaimed the Maghreb region of Sub-Saharan Africa as their caliphate.  Each offshoot of Boko Haram, which originated as with most Sunni terrorist factions through the Muslim Brotherhood, will be governing each provincial district and under Obama, who is still funding since no word has ever been provided as to any cessation of it even post-terrorist cell declaration, will serve as his regional source for his visionary Pan African state. For a president who is attempting to form a protectionist scenario in the guise of a Pan African state primarily governed by his allies who are dictators, or how he continues to fund Hamas, the Islamic State, al-Qaeda and the Taliban and of course Boko Haram, it is similar to my fond quip regarding the Democratic Party and, most egregiously than any president in our history, Obama: They only like to allow people the right to choice if it amounts to killing unborn babies. Why else would the government continue funding Planned Parenthood clinics, of which 79% of these evil institutions are located in poor black and Hispanic communities, where blacks comprise of only 13% of our population and is now just the third largest minority demographic, while 64% of all U.S. abortions are performed on all minority groups?  It is a very Hitler-like practice to engage in eugenics, which was precisely one of the major strategies employed to engage in the genocide of those who tainted the master race or were political opponents of Der Fuhrer, and why precisely abortions on demand must be banned.  And how better may the terrorists through Afgen Sheikh accomplish this than through such an entanglement of corporate webs and charities as what you will read below:

The U.S., Britain, Senegal, Pakistan and the Philippines are all hot targets or state-sponsors of terrorism

Notice the list of charities, many of which are notorious for being "for-profit" organizations.

The next issue with Sheikh are his records for fundraising per the Federal Election Commission (FEC). I find some of the language within these documents interesting, as in his organization not being required to file reports with the regulatory body:

You will notice within these documents that repeated violations by its treasurer, Afgen Sheikh, of failure to report his campaign funds and suddenly the "about-face" by the FEC and later Sheikh's revelation that he intends to funnel unlimited funds into non-official capacities leads one to wonder just what he was financing:

Why would the FEC determine on August 26, 2013 in its last correspondence with Afgen Sheikh that he no longer needed to file reports with the Commission?

Its a scam. They ask you a simple question like "do you have a small dog?" and if you answer "yes" they record you saying "yes" to authorize charges on your phone bill. If you say "no" they have a recording asking "did you have any problems with your charges?" then you saying "no." I got multiple calls a day. The caller ID is think say act 10.

Who would have thought that so many Obamas reside within the U.S.? It reveals the Dr. David Obama in Olney, MD; there is also one from Silver Spring known only as "A. Obama". The president has multiple addresses himself according this list:

There is a major issue with the above line "The half brothers met for the first time in 1985 when Barack flew from Chicago to Washington, D.C., to visit Malik." Recall when you read The Daily Mail in the interview with Malik where he stated the following:

Malik insists he is a fair man.  ‘There have been 12 wives since my first marriage in 1981, when Barack was my best man. I have done my best with all of them, along with the children.’ He won’t, however, say how many he has.

How could Obama have met Malik in 1985, and yet have served as his elder brother's best man during his first wedding? It is about as suspicious as the gaps in the president's birth certificate, and I am still at some going to order the copies of Barack Obama Sr. from the British National Archives, which I have, but need to learn how to properly format my request with regards to call numbers.

With regards to the last half of the highlighted sentence, Barack flew from Chicago to Washington, D.C., to visit Malik. Well, there is another inconsistency with this story:

After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a degree in accountancy, Malik worked in Nairobi until 1985, when he moved to America.

‘Barack made contact soon after I started living in Washington and flew from Chicago, to meet me,’ he says. ‘I knew about him from the beginning, because my father used to talk about him a lot.’

Malik, who runs a small electronics shop a half-hour’s drive outside Washington, says there is nothing wrong in using his name as a force for change – but he adds that his brother’s family is not involved.

‘They’re hands-off,’ he said. ‘They’re not involved in what I’m doing. He’s doing his thing, he’s the President of United States. I am Malik Obama, doing this thing.’

The interview given by Malik now has two contradictory statements. He first stated Barack was his best man at his first wedding in 1981. How, though, can the president have been at his wedding in presumably Nairobi at that point, and yet have not met Malik until 1985 when the older brother moved to Washington from Nairobi?  

This is not simply Malik's word against the world. In the president's book, he wrote the following about his pride in Malik:

And there is indeed some evidence for that. In his memoir, Barack recalls the wedding day, writing: ‘The person who made me proudest was Roy [the name he uses for Malik]. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol. [His] new lifestyle has left him lean and clear-eyed. 

'At the wedding he looked so dignified in his black African gown with white trim and matching cap that some of our guests mistook him for my father.’

On the other hand, these are all aliases for the president or family members presently alive and no longer residing at these addresses, or dead, deceased and still with records as residing at the address provided, and still further the issue of why they often appear to be anagrams related to the official names provided.

Recall the story provided in the interview by Malik:

Malik was just one in 1959 when his father, Barack Obama Senior, left  his wife Kezia to take up a scholarship at the University of Hawaii. Malik’s sister Auma, two years younger, appears to have been conceived when his father was home on holiday. Kezia, now 72, later studied in America and lives in Bracknell, Berkshire.

In America, Barack Sr met and married Ann Dunham, an anthropologist from Kansas. But soon after she gave birth to the future US President he abandoned her and returned to Kenya.

So, Auma was born in 1961 while on holiday, in Kenya, the same year the president was born. How ironic then, the twists and turns of this tale! Of course, Malik may not be lying on this issue at all; he only knows Barack according to all accounts from what his father informed him regarding his younger brother. And the other issue involved the detail of Ann Durham, the alleged mother of the president. Where exactly are the details as to where he met Ann Durham in the U.S., and since Hawaii was not a U.S. state until 1959, when was he conceived and then delivered? The issue with dates is a major problem with Malik's story. 

To perhaps understand the inconsistencies just with corroborating all details chronologically, refer again to Kezia Obama's details, again from Wikipedia, complete with citations as with all of them:

Onyango Obama is the key to this detailing. Did he or did he not bring along the president when he was an infant from Kenya as part of the Airlift Africa policy of the first Kenyan president Tom Mboya? Malik claimed his father arrived in Hawaii on holiday in 1959, still married because no record of his interview stated that Kezia and Barack Sr. were divorced, and he married Ann Durham. If this is true, his marriage to Durham was never legal. As a result, Barack Sr. was not granted a Green Card, was not an American citizen, he should have been arrested for polygamy, meaning the president's citizenship would not have existed since he was not in Hawaii in 1960. when Auma was born and when the president reported was born on August 4. The British National Archives (BNA) is an executive agency of the government of the United Kingdom. Based in Kew in southwest London, the BNA is the UK government’s official archive, containing 1,000 years of history from Domesday Book to the present, with records from parchment and paper scrolls to digital files and archived websites, including Foreign Office and Colonial Office correspondence and files. The collections held by the BNA can be searched using their online catalogue. Entrance to the Archives is free.

On April 18, 2012, the BNA released the first batch of thousands of “lost” colonial-era files believed to have been destroyed, including files on Britain’s former colony of Kenya. Reporters at the UK’s The Guardian were among the first who looked at some of the newly released colonial files. They found that the name of Barack Obama (henceforth, Obama Sr.), the father of the POS in the White House, is on the top of a list of names revealed in a hitherto secret British colonial file of Kenyans studying in the United States.

But it’s not just UK journalists who can access the British National Archives; anyone can. In May 2012, someone conducted a search of the Archives using the search term “Obama” and found that an unnamed son of Obama Sr. was born in Kenya in 1961. Since the POS in the White House is the only known son of Obama Sr. born after 1960 and before 1963 when Kenya became officially independent from the UK, it is reasonable for us to conclude that the POS is that unnamed son of Obama Sr. born in Kenya in 1961. And in fact, the claimed birth date of the POS is August 4, 1961.

BELOW ARE EXCERPTS FROM DAN CROSBY’S ON-SITE REPORT FROM KEW FOR THE DAILY PEN, “OBAMA’S KENYA BIRTH RECORDS DISCOVERED IN BRITISH NATIONAL ARCHIVES,” JULY 18, 2012:

Evidence discovered shows British Protectorate of East Africa recorded Obama’s birth records before 1963 and sent returns of those events to Britain’s Public Records Office and the Kew branch of British National Archives. [...]

It now appears the worst fears of the U.S. Constitution’s framers were well founded as investigators working on behalf of the ongoing investigation into the Constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama have found yet another lead in a growing mountain of evidence within the public records section of the British National Archives indicating the occurrence of at least four vital events registered to the name of Barack Obama, taking place in the British Protectorate of East Africa (Kenya) between 1953 and 1963, including the birth of two sons before 1963.

Recall, investigative journalists working for Breitbart.com have already discovered biographical information published by Barack Obama’s literary agent in which he claimed he was born in Kenya.  Prior to Obama’s ensconcement to the White House, many international stories also stated that Obama was Kenyan-born as did members of Kenya’s legislative assembly.  Since then information on Obama’s ties has been curtailed by government officials asthe Obama administration has coincidentally paid nearly $4 billion dollars for capital projects in Kenya.

Also, the presence of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, cannot be accounted for from February, 1961, the alleged month of her marriage to Obama, until three weeks after the birth of Obama II in August, 1961 when she allegedly applied for college courses at the University of Washington.  Theories about her whereabouts have included that she participated in the Air Lift America project as an exchange student and traveled to Nairobi as one of many recent high school graduates (see AASF Report 1959-1961).

The record of birth of a second son prior to Kenyan independence is significant because biographical information about Obama’s family indicates Obama Sr. fathered only one other son prior to Obama II’s birth.

The books containing hand written line records of vital events attributed to Obama [Sr.] are contained in Series RG36 of the Family Records section in the Kew branch of the BNA.  The hand written line records first discovered in 2009, indicate several events were registered to the name Barack Obama (appears to be handwritten and spelled “Burack” and “Biraq”) beginning in 1953 and include two births recorded in 1958 and 1960, a marriage license registration in 1954 and a birth in 1961.  Barack Obama [Sr.] is said to have died in 1982 and had married at least once more in Kenya and had at least one more child in 1968, but no record of these were found in the BNA because, according to the Archives’ desk reference, the events occurred after Kenya achieved independence from British colonial rule in 1963.

To date, Barack Obama II is the only known alleged son of Obama Sr. born after 1960 and before the independence of Kenya became official in 1963.

A request for information from the BNA on the specification of birth information contained in the series of thousands of logs indicates that only vital events registered in Kenya’s Ministry of Health offices were recorded in the registration returns and were placed in the National Archives care before they reached 30 years old (the law was amended to 20 years after creation in 2010).

The line records do not specify the identity or names of the children, only gender.  However, the line records are associated with index numbers of actual microfilm copies of certificates, licenses and registration applications filed in the archives.  According to researchers, Obama [Sr.]’s line records were discovered in Series RG36, reference books.  Not surprisingly, when researchers specifically requested access to the relevant microfilm for the Obama [Sr.] birth registrations, they were told that the records were currently held under an outdated “privileged access” status, meaning researchers were denied access under Chapter 52, Sections 3 and 5 of the British Public Records Act of 1958.

However, evidence shows these records were available for public accessbefore August of 2009, the approximate date of arrival of Hillary Clinton in Great Britain during her trip to Africa that year.

Several sources show that Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made a sudden visit to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the British agency which oversees Public Records Archives from colonial protectorates, to speak with the Chief Executive of the Archives in early August of 2009.  African news agency expressed surprise at Clinton’s arrival since she did not announce her intentions of stopping in Great Britain before embarking on her two week trip to Africa.

For someone who wanted to remain in America, it’s difficult to imagine any reason why Barack Obama’s alleged father, Barack the elder, would omit the birth of an “anchor baby” son on an application to extend his visa, just days after the birth occurred, unless…

The American people were told by Barack Obama, unequivocally, that his father was a former goat herder from Kenya. However, INS documents filed in the very same month after Obama’s birth suggest the goat herding elder Obama didn’t “get the memo” that he was a daddy.

On August 31st, 1961, just weeks after Obama’s birth was allegedly registered in a regional office of the Hawaiian Health Department, Obama the elder neglected to name his newborn son on an application for extension of his temporary visa to stay in the U.S.

Obama’s omission of the birth is astonishing and illogical given the fact that the acknowledgement of the birth would have fortified Obama’s application for an extension. The INS has long been more willing to extend the visa of a foreign parent of children born in the U.S., especially when the other parent is an American citizen.

Despite the recent release of a documentary film “Dreams From My Real Father” presenting evidence that Barack Hussein Obama is not the biological father of the younger Obama, the elder Obama is the man named as the father on the digital image of Obama’s alleged 1961 “Certificate of Live Birth” which was posted to the internet by the administration in April of 2011. The document image has since been forensically examined by law enforcement investigators and determined to be a digitally fabricated forgery using Adobe software.

[...], in 2011, it was reported by The Daily Pen after an investigation of the State of Hawaii’s birth statistics collection protocols and vital records history thatbirth certificates are often amended after the birth while the original paper document is sealed under strict confidentiality rules when the identity of the father is either determined after birth or when the father named on the new version of the certificate has adopted or assumed paternal responsibility for the child.

In the latter case, the original birth record may not contain the biological father’s name because the mother does not provide it, or it may list paternity as “unknown”, but this version is kept confidential under HRS 571. [...] Therefore, the paternity of the child at the actual time of the birth is not disclosed while the new amended certificate is upheld as the original version displaying the name of the newly identified or adoptive father as indistinguishable if different from the biological father. This law is meant to protect the child from stigmas resulting from illegitimacy, rape, incest or adultery. Under these circumstances it is not possible to know the paternal status of a child at birth unless the original birth record is made accessible by authorized persons under Hawaiian law.

[...] If Obama [Sr.] is not the biological father, or if paternal information is listed on the original certificate as “unknown”, the state of Hawaii keeps this information secret until a court orders the documents to be released for discovery purposes in determining Obama’s eligibility. Thus far, courts have lacked courage to uphold the Constitution thereby propagating the greatest political fraud in American history. Judges are simply washing their hands of the issue by refusing to even consider actual evidence against Obama, denying citizens of justice and their Constitutional right to a redress of grievances, because they simply do not have the courage to face the legal crisis such a revelation would cause.

[...] Despite evidence indicating that Obama was simultaneously married to a woman in Kenya, it is suspected that he claimed to be married to Dunham in order to use the marriage as leverage to remain in the U.S. There is no evidence or testimony that Obama [Sr.] ever loved Dunham or that the two had ever been engaged. The two did not live together before or after being married and there were no letters, no ring, no announcement or, most importantly, no legal marriage registration with the State of Hawaii.

Despite a complete void of documented proof of the marriage, it appears Dunham was granted a statutory divorce from Obama in 1964. However, images posted of the court documents from the decree contain no original documented proof of a marriage or legal documents showing that Obama was the father of Dunham’s child.  A review of the court documents shows that at least one document, perhaps an original birth certificate for baby Obama, was missing from the numbering sequence.

Being legitimately married to a U.S. citizen would be a benefit toward allowing a foreign spouse to remain the U.S. However, no marriage license application or public announcement has ever been found to indicate that Obama and Dunham were ever married or that Obama [Sr.] had even divorced his Kenyan wife prior to an alleged wedding with Dunham. This fact supports the contents of memos from college and INS officials who expressed doubts about the legitimacy of Obama’s relationship with Dunham, even questioning the motive of such a union between a teenage woman and a foreign student facing visa expiration just days after the birth of her child.

[...] Government officials in Hawaii, including Governor Neil Abercrombie, Lt. Governor Brian Schatz and former Hawaiian elections official, Tim Adams have all indicated that they could find no original record of Obama’s alleged birth in any hospital in Hawaiiin the course of their duties to verify his eligibility. The absence of verifiable birth documentation was so apparent that Schatz, serving as the chairman of the Democrat Party of Hawaii in 2008, refused to certify that Obama was indeed constitutionally eligible to hold the office of presidentwhen he submitted the Official Certification of Nomination of Obama. Schatz deferred the responsibility to Nancy Pelosi and DNC, and then Chair of the Hawaiian Elections Commission, Kevin Cronin. Cronin resigned suddenly after controversy surrounding his decision began to strain his relationship with the commission.

Conclusion: How the President May Be Arrested for Treason without Being Served with Articles of Impeachment

For the sake of saving your eyeballs from popping out from the extensive research provided, I will very quickly conclude this article with how President Obama may be arrested by order of either Congress or the U.S. Armed Forces for Treason. In engaging in a more scholarly means for discussing this, I simply will reference you to the Constitution of the United States and a little known U.S. Supreme Court case involving the feud between Chief Justice Roger Taney and President Abraham Lincoln regarding te suspension of habeas corpus in Ex parte Merryman (1861). I discovered these on my own.

As stated, Article III details the duties granted the Judiciary Branch, or the U.S. Supreme Court. Specifically, it states the following:

Article III.

Section. 1.

The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

Section. 3. provides the specific details of the sole crime declared by the federal constitution, which is treason:

Section. 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Article II. states the following may be punishable by Congress, all of which the president has committed in terms crime:

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States; 

To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;

To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;

Most importantly, it the Necessary and Proper Clause grants Congress the capacity to make laws and enact them as they see fit. In theory, the Legislative Branch supersedes all others due to its direct representation of the people:

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

Legal Questions Before the Court

Did the President have authority to suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus? 

Chief Justice Taney said that the President did not have the authority to suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus and that the Constitution reserved that authority for the Congress. 

Taney based his opinion in Ex parte Merryman on the Constitution, the tradition of habeas corpus in English law, and a decision of the Supreme Court. The Constitution’s only reference to habeas corpus appeared in Article I, Section 9, which enumerated powers that the Congress was prohibited from exercising. Although that clause of the Constitution did not specify which branch of government had the limited authority to suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus in times of crisis, Taney, like most earlier commentators, assumed that placement of the clause in Article I indicated that the power to suspend was limited to the Congress. Taney’s review of English law demonstrated that the monarch had long been prohibited from suspending the privilege of habeas and that English legal authorities agreed that suspension was the prerogative of the Parliament. Taney cited a Supreme Court decision of 1807, in which Chief Justice John Marshall had written that the Congress alone had the authority to suspend the privilege to the writ, and Justice Joseph Story’s famous Commentaries, which said only the Congress could determine if a rebellion or invasion justified suspension. 

In the opening of his opinion, Taney expressed “some surprise” at reports that Lincoln claimed the authority to suspend the writ, “for I had supposed it to be one of those points of constitutional law upon which there was no difference of opinion, and that it was admitted on all hands, that the privilege of the writ could not be suspended, except by act of Congress.” 

Could the military detain an individual on charges of violating U.S. law? 

Chief Justice Taney said that a military officer had no authority to arrest an individual for a criminal offense. If a member of the military suspected an individual of violating a U.S. law, he had an obligation to inform the U.S. attorney, who would determine if the matter should be brought before a district judge or a commissioner authorized to issue an arrest warrant. Taney offered some of his strongest language to condemn the actions of the military officers who ordered and carried out the arrest of Merryman. They had “by force of arms, thrust aside the judicial authorities and officers to whom the constitution has confided the power and duty of interpreting and administering the laws, and substituted a military government in its place.” The arrest and detainment of Merryman, according to Taney, had violated essential rights guaranteed by the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. Merryman had been seized without a warrant and with no presentation of evidence, in violation of the Fourth Amendment; he had been detained without any hearing or other due process of law, in violation of the Fifth Amendment; and he was now held at a “strongly garrisoned fort,” with no prospect of a speedy trial in a court of justice, in violation of the Sixth Amendment. If the military had this authority to decide what constituted a crime and what constituted sufficient evidence to imprison someone, “the people of the United States are no longer living under a government of laws, but every citizen holds life, liberty, and property at the will and pleasure of the army officer in whose military district he may be found.” 

Taney also asserted that the military officers had no reasonable expectation that the civil authorities would be unable to enforce the law, since no one in Maryland had heretofore resisted the process of any federal court or judicial officer. The district judge, the commissioner, the district attorney, and the marshal for the District of Maryland all lived within a few miles of Merryman, and would have been easily accessible to a military authority who suspected treasonous activity. 

What jurisdiction did the federal courts have over a petition for a writ of habeas corpus from an individual detained by the military? 

Section 14 of the Judiciary Act of 1789 authorized federal courts as well as individual district judges and Supreme Court justices to issue writs of habeas corpus to inquire into the reasons for a commitment, or imprisonment, under the order of a federal court or other federal authority. Although most habeas writs issued by the federal courts related to criminal proceedings, some federal courts had issued writs of habeas corpus to individuals held by the military, such as in New Orleans in the closing days of martial law imposed during the War of 1812. A Supreme Court decision of 1807 limited the Supreme Court’s habeas jurisdiction to appeals of lower federal court orders and thus excluded military prisoners from submitting petitions directly to the high Court. Although Chief Justice Taney acknowledged that the Supreme Court did not have jurisdiction to issue a writ of habeas corpus to an individual held in custody by the military, he reportedly believed that individual justices, sitting “in chambers” (outside a regular court session), did have such authority. In the Merryman proceedings, however, Taney was intentionally vague about whether he has acting as Chief Justice in chambers or as the circuit justice for the U.S. Circuit Court for Maryland. In 1867, Chief Justice Salmon Chase denied a habeas petition from a military prisoner whose attorney cited Taney’s personal belief in a justice’s authority to grant the writ in chambers. Although the decision was unpublished, Chase privately told a senator that he had denied the petition because justices sitting on their own had the authority to grant habeas writs only to petitioners from their assigned circuits. 

What did the federal courts decide in related cases? 

In re McDonald, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, 1861 (16 Federal Cases 17) 

Just days before the arrest of Merryman, another Army general in another border state refused to appear in a federal court in answer to a writ of habeas corpus. Like Taney, the federal judge in the Eastern District of Missouri declined to enforce the writ but offered a strongly argued defense of the judiciary’s authority to enforce constitutional rights even in the midst of a civil war. 

Emmett McDonald served as a captain in a Missouri militia company that in the spring of 1861 gathered arms at a camp named for the state’s secessionist governor and prepared to attack the U.S. arsenal in nearby St. Louis. On May 10, federal forces took control of the militia’s camp, seized the arms, and forced the militia members to march to St. Louis. Gathering crowds taunted the federal forces and sang cheers to Jefferson Davis and the Confederacy. Fighting broke out, leaving several dead and numerous civilians wounded. The militia members were released on the condition that they pledge not to take up arms against the Union, but McDonald refused and remained in the custody of the U.S. forces. McDonald then petitioned the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri for a writ of habeas corpus, which was granted by Judge Samuel Treat and delivered to General William Harney, who had just assumed command of the Army’s Department of the West. By the time Harney received the writ, he had transferred McDonald to the custody of troops in Illinois, outside the court’s jurisdiction. 

General Harney did not appear in court and sent a letter explaining that McDonald was not in his custody. Harney informed Treat that the existing crisis in Missouri compelled him to observe a “higher law,” even if it appeared he was violating the forms of law. Although Lincoln’s authorization of the suspension of habeas corpus did not extend to Missouri, Harney believed that the President’s order to disperse “all armed rebels hostile to the United States” justified his predecessor’s raid on the militia camp and the detention of McDonald. The general added that if McDonald had been in his custody, he would have taken no action to release a prisoner who had been a member of the offending militia. 

Judge Treat had no options for enforcing the writ, but he filed in the district court a lengthy opinion that established the jurisdiction of his court over habeas petitions from persons detained by the military. Treat’s exhaustive survey of habeas decisions in the federal courts and English precedents led him to conclude that Section 14 of the Judiciary Act of 1789 granted federal courts the authority to issue writs of habeas corpus to prisoners detained by any federal authority, not just those arrested by formal judicial process. The judge emphasized that the protections of the Bill of Rights were most likely to be ignored by authorities outside the courts, where the established procedure demanded some public explanation of an arrest and commitment. If the courts were denied jurisdiction over habeas writs from those held by the military or other federal authorities outside the judiciary, then citizens would be “powerless when arbitrary will, assuming to act in the name of the United States, chooses to trample upon every constitutional guarantee for the protection of individual liberty.” 

When Congress reconvened in early July, Representative Francis Preston Blair of Missouri introduced a bill to consolidate Missouri as a single judicial district and thus eliminate Treat’s judgeship. The bill passed the House within a few weeks but failed in the Senate, and Treat continued to serve as a federal judge until his retirement in 1887. Emmett McDonald eventually fought for the Confederacy and was killed in action in 1864. 

Ex parte Vallandigham, U.S. Circuit Court for the Southern District of Ohio, 1863 (28 Federal Cases 874) 

In the denial of a writ of habeas corpus for a prominent politician imprisoned by the military, a federal judge from Ohio offered military officers enormous discretion in the suppression of public sympathy for the Confederacy or of criticism of the President’s war strategy. Representative Clement Vallandigham of Ohio was one of Lincoln’s fiercest critics in the Congress during the first years of the Civil War. As a nationally known and charismatic “Copperhead,” Vallandigham used his seat in the House of Representatives to challenge the President’s leadership and to condemn the abolitionists, whom he blamed for the war. Vallandigham lost reelection to a fourth term in Congress and returned to Ohio, where he planned to run for governor. In May 1863, before a large crowd in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Vallandigham attacked General Orders No. 38, in which General Ambrose Burnside of the Department of the Ohio had recently declared martial law and made it a crime to express any public sympathy with the Southern rebels. Burnside ordered Vallandigham’s arrest and trial by a military commission on charges of giving aid and comfort to Confederate forces and attempting to weaken public support for the government. The commission found Vallandigham guilty and sentenced him to imprisonment for the duration of the war. 

Vallandigham petitioned the U.S. Circuit Court for the Southern District of Ohio for a writ of habeas corpus. After soliciting arguments from Burnside and his counsel as well as from the lawyers for Vallandigham, Judge Humphrey Leavitt denied the writ. An earlier decision by the same court had established that a habeas writ would not be granted if the judges were confident that no subsequent order of the court would result in the release of the prisoner. Leavitt was convinced that the Army would not obey an order in this case, but he also offered a substantive and potentially far-reaching argument for denying the writ of habeas corpus. Vallandigham’s lawyers had argued that an individual who was not in military service, and therefore not subject to the rules of war, could not be arrested by the military or tried before a military commission. Judge Leavitt acknowledged that by the strict standards of the Constitution, the arrest violated civil liberties protected by the Bill of Rights, but Leavitt said that “the court cannot shut its eyes to the grave fact that war exists.” With the republic in peril, a judge needed to interpret the Constitution so as to serve the larger goal of saving the nation from “hopeless ruin.” Leavitt also deferred to the judgment of military officers who were charged with carrying out the President’s orders to preserve and defend the Union. In time of war, it was impossible for a judge to know all that the President and his generals needed to do to preserve the Union. Leavitt cited the recent Emancipation Proclamation as an example of the expansive powers justified by military necessity. The legality of an arrest ultimately “depended on the necessity for making it.” 

After the denial of the habeas writ, Vallandigham’s lawyers petitioned the Supreme Court for a writ of certiorari to review his trial by the commission. The Supreme Court, citing a lack of jurisdiction over appeals from a military tribunal, denied the writ. Lincoln and his cabinet had no advance notice of Burnside’s general order or of his decision to arrest Vallandigham. Secretary of War Edwin Stanton feared that the circuit justice might grant the writ of habeas corpus, and he prepared for Lincoln an order suspending habeas corpus in this case. Lincoln declined to issue the order. Following Vallandigham’s conviction and the denial of his habeas petition, Lincoln commuted the prison sentence and ordered General Burnside to send Vallandigham to a Confederate general in Tennessee. Vallandigham soon left the Confederate states and went to Canada, from where he monitored his unsuccessful campaign for governor of Ohio. He returned to the United States in 1864 and campaigned against Lincoln’s reelection. 

Ex parte Milligan, Supreme Court of the United States, 1866 (71 U.S. Reports 2) 

Lambdin Milligan of Indiana was suspected to be a member of a secret society, the Order of American Knights, that allegedly conspired to seize arms at a U.S. arsenal and to free Confederate prisoners of war. He was arrested by Army officers in October 1864 and tried by a military commission on charges of conspiracy against the government, aiding the rebels, inciting insurrection, disloyal practices, and violating the laws of war. The commission found Milligan and two collaborators guilty and sentenced them to death by hanging. Lincoln delayed the execution, but after Lincoln’s assassination, President Andrew Johnson ordered the military to proceed with the punishment. Nine days before the scheduled execution, lawyers for Milligan petitioned the U.S. Circuit Court for Indiana for a writ of habeas corpus. The petition stated that the Habeas Corpus Act of 1863 provided that Milligan, who had never served in the military, should either have been brought before a civilian court to be tried or been released from custody. 

The judges of the circuit court, Justice David Davis and Judge David McDonald, differed on the questions of the issuance of a habeas writ, the release of Milligan from custody, and the jurisdiction of the military commission. As provided for by law, the judges certified their split and sent the case to the Supreme Court. All nine justices voted to overturn the verdict of the military commission, but they disagreed about the grounds of their decision. 

Justice Davis wrote for the majority in an opinion based on constitutional rights. The end of “the late wicked Rebellion” offered the opportunity for a more reasoned consideration of the questions presented by the case, and Davis thought that “no graver question was ever considered by this Court.” One of the clearest provisions of the Constitution was “infringed when Milligan was tried by a court not ordained and established by the Congress, and not composed of judges appointed during good behavior.” The arrest and trial of Milligan violated the protection against search and seizure without a warrant, the guarantee of a jury in a criminal trial, and the requirement for a grand jury indictment in a charge carrying the death penalty. Davis went beyond these questions of constitutional protections in criminal procedure to disallow the establishment of military commissions in areas where the civilian courts continued to operate without interruption. “Martial law can never exist where the courts are open, and in the proper and unobstructed exercise of their jurisdiction.” Davis also held that martial law could be imposed only in areas that are in rebellion or in which an invasion has already occurred, and that the threat of an invasion was never sufficient to justify martial law. The safety of the country had not required martial law in Indiana, where the federal courts were capable of trying anyone accused of treason. 

Chief Justice Salmon Chase wrote a concurring opinion for the minority of four justices and based his decision solely on the statutory authority provided by the Habeas Corpus Act of 1863. As Davis had also held, Chase wrote that the wartime statute granted military authorities the power to arrest without being held answerable to a writ of habeas corpus, but this expansive power was limited by the act’s requirement that the military report to the federal courts the names of all individuals arrested and that following the end of the next grand jury meeting, all prisoners not indicted could petition the federal judge for release. The military commission in Indiana had met neither of those requirements. The four-justice minority asserted that the Congress had the authority to establish the military commission that was held in Indiana. 

Although the Milligan decision would be celebrated as a landmark case in civil liberties, it initially faced enormous criticism, particularly from Republicans who feared that it would undermine the use of military commissions to enforce equal rights for freed slaves and Unionists in the South. Radical Republicans, like Thaddeus Stevens of Pennsylvania, linked the Milligan decision with Dred Scott, and feared that the Supreme Court would once again come to the defense of the white South. 

Ex parte McCardle, Supreme Court of the United States, 1869 (74 U.S. Reports 506) 

William McCardle was arrested by officers of the military government of Mississippi established under the Reconstruction Act of 1867, and he was tried by a military commission on charges of publishing libelous articles in his newspaper. McCardle’s attorney petitioned the U.S. Circuit Court for Mississippi for a writ of habeas corpus, and on the return argued that by the terms of Ex parte Milligan, McCardle could not be tried by a military court in a state with a functioning civil federal court. Judge Robert Hill of the circuit court denied McCardle’s release and returned him to the custody of the military government. Under the terms of the Habeas Corpus Act of 1867, McCardle appealed Hill’s circuit court decision to the Supreme Court, and the case was argued over four days in early March 1868. The 1867 act gave the federal courts jurisdiction to grant habeas writs to individuals held by state as well as federal authorities, and it provided a right of appeal to the Supreme Court from any habeas decision in the U.S. circuit courts. 

Congress, fearing that the Supreme Court might declare unconstitutional the Reconstruction Act of 1867, in late March and before the Court announced a decision, repealed the 1867 provision for habeas appeals to the Supreme Court. Chief Justice Salmon Chase, citing the Congress’s constitutional authority to define the Supreme Court’s appellate jurisdiction, declared in a unanimous opinion that the 1868 repeal act denied the Court any jurisdiction in the case, and the Supreme Court dismissed McCardle’s appeal. 

Chase noted at the close of his opinion that the Supreme Court retained the habeas jurisdiction granted by the Judiciary Act of 1789. In 1869, the Supreme Court relied on that jurisdiction in the case of Edward Yerger, who was tried for murder by a military commission in Mississippi. Yerger had petitioned the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Mississippi for a writ of habeas corpus, and, after a hearing, that court remanded Yerger to military custody. Yerger’s attorneys then petitioned a Supreme Court justice to issue a writ of habeas corpus. The Supreme Court ruled that the appellate jurisdiction defined by the Judiciary Act of 1789 gave it the authority to issue a writ to Yerger because he remained in custody as a result of a decision of a U.S. circuit court.

Of course, whether Congress decides upon acquiring the supermajority it stands to win on November 4, 2014 or if the military decides to deny President Obama his right to habeas corpus, he can be arrested for treason, for printing counterfeit money that has no gold  nor silver standard value through his quantitative easing policy, for engaging in unlawful military covert action in Afghanistan when he in fact never provided proof in May 2011 of whether Osama bin Laden actually died, and for his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood whereupon the Egyptian government presents publicly the documentation proving the president's activities with the former Egyptian political party was intent upon casting aside the Constitution of the United States as well as funding terrorism through Hamas prior to its adopting the Hamas-Doha Agreement with regards to the Palestinian Authority:

A reconciliation deal between Fatah and Hamas was reached by the two governments in Cairo on 27 April 2011. The two agreed to form a unity government,^[46] and to hold elections in both territories within 12 months of the establishment of such a government.^[47][48] The deal also permitted the entry of Hamas into the Palestine Liberation Organization and holding of elections to its Palestine National Council decision-making body. The deal was further ratified in the 2012 Hamas–Fatah Doha agreement, which was made with the background of Hamas relocation from Damascus, due to the simmering Syrian civil war. 

Of course, since the Egyptian Revolution occurred from January 5 to February 11, 2011 while Hamas was still declared a terrorist organization not a party or government of a sovereign state of its own in the Gaza Strip, the president was funding Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to power. As the State Department still has not declared the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, Hamas was; therefore, the president was aiding and abetting an enemy of the United States. As of today, Hamas is still declared a terrorist state, with the most recent list available being issue in 2005 courtesy of U.S. Department of State. Below is the statement on Hamas, which includes it being a conduit and spawn of the Muslim Brotherhood, and why the president will be arrested upon Congress gaining a supermajority of GOP lawmakers following the November elections.

HAMAS 

a.k.a. Islamic Resistance Movement

Description 

HAMAS was formed in late 1987 as an outgrowth of the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Various HAMAS elements have used both violent and political means, including terrorism, to pursue the goal of establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in Israel. It is loosely structured, with some elements working clandestinely and others operating openly through mosques and social service institutions to recruit members, raise money, organize activities, and distribute propaganda. HAMAS’ strength is concentrated in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. 

Activities 

HAMAS terrorists, especially those in the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, have conducted many attacks, including large-scale suicide bombings, against Israeli civilian and military targets. HAMAS maintained the pace of its operational activity in 2004, claiming numerous attacks against Israeli interests. HAMAS has not yet directly targeted US interests, although the group makes little or no effort to avoid targets frequented by foreigners. HAMAS continues to confine its attacks to Israelis inside Israel and the occupied territories. 

Strength 

Unknown number of official members; tens of thousands of supporters and sympathizers. 

Location/Area of Operation 

HAMAS currently limits its terrorist operations to Israeli military and civilian targets in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Israel. Two of the group’s most senior leaders in the Gaza Strip, Shaykh Ahmad Yasin and Abd al Aziz al Rantisi, were killed in Israeli air strikes in 2004. The group retains a cadre of senior leaders spread throughout the Gaza Strip, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and the Gulf States.
